Casey House approached Groundswell & The Moment to help them imagine and implement a 5-7 year strategic plan. They had just built a world-class stand-alone HIV hospital, totally unique in the world, and wanted to continue to push the envelope in their pursuit of care for people failed by the traditional healthcare system.
What we found, in getting to know the epidemiology of HIV, was a unique story about patients working hand-in-hand with clinicians to develop a range of person centered care practices. The care at Casey House is years ahead of the traditional system; it’s integrated, preventative, clinically interdisciplinary and combines complex medical care while addressing social determinants of health. We helped develop a strategic practice across high performing teams to become more intentional and articulate about their work, while building strategies to influence the healthcare system without compromising client care.
